What Makes Orlando a Great Place to Live?
Today I want to take a minute and go over some of the things that make Orlando a great and fun city to live in.
Of course, Orlando is known for Disney World. Orlando is one of the theme park capitals of the world, and Disney has multiple parks here: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and more. Other notable theme parks include Universal Orlando Resort, Seaworld, and LEGOLAND.
If you would rather spend the day outdoors, boaters and fishers can explore thousands of lakes and rivers. The East Coast is just a short drive away, and if you head west, you will find the Gulf of Mexico.
There are also 150 local golf courses, so there is plenty of golf to be had by all!
There is something for everyone in Orlando!

If you are more interested in walking and hiking, there are more than 60 miles of trails to explore in Orlando alone. You can hike, bike, walk, or go horseback riding all over the place. Those 60 miles of trails connect to a 1,300-mile trail system ranging from the panhandle to the Everglades. There are also more than 30 local state and county-operated parks for you to picnic in and enjoy the Florida weather.
For the sports fans out there, Orlando is home to the Orlando Magic basketball team, the Orlando City Soccer Club (a brand-new national soccer franchise), and the Orlando Pride (part of the National Women's Soccer League). Check out the UCF Knights for some college football. The U.S. Tennis Association recently named Orlando as its headquarters, and the Citrus Bowl will host the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl. As you can see, there are plenty of options for sports.
With all of the places to see, things to do, and experiences to have, getting around is pretty important. Luckily, Orlando is very well connected by roads, highways, and expressways.
There are all kinds of fun and exciting things to do in the Orlando area. If you have any other questions about this great city, give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to help you!
